We are accepting submissions for our collaborative compilation pop album, set to be released in May 2024. 
 
Our definition of pop music is broad and some examples of what we enjoy are electronic, alternative, dark wave, hyperpop, and dance styles.

Our taste is subjective and not all applicants will be accepted.

For Pop artists

The purpose of this album is to uplift Minnesota pop artists and connect them to a broader music industry. 

If you are not a Minnesota resident, you may still apply.

Throughout the creation of this album we will provide:

​

  • Development/consultation

  • Music production support

  • Digital distribution

  • Physical music media production

  • Collaboration

Freeze Pop Records is led by BIPOC and LGBT staff and dedicated to uplifting BIPOC and LGBT artists in MN. Therefore, we have reserved 50% of the produced collaborative album to contain artists who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBT.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
