Freeze Pop Records is thrilled to announce "Popsikal", featuring a line up of Minnesota pop-centric and pop-adjacent artists in a collaborative effort to highlight the rich and dynamic pop music scene in Minnesota.

This album features the collective talents of 11 exceptional Minnesota pop artists and has been produced, mixed, and mastered all by local artists. The theme of local talent reaches past the music and extends to the artwork, graphic design, and physical production of the album. Release date May 31, 2024.

Freeze Pop Records is led by BIPOC and LGBT staff and dedicated to uplifting BIPOC and LGBT artists in MN. Therefore, we have reserved 50% of the produced collaborative album to contain artists who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBT.

​

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

​

The purpose of this album is to uplift Minnesota pop artists and connect them to a broader music industry. 

​
